Giant Eagle Response to COVID-19 Crisis
We know that everyone has been impacted by the global COVID-19 crisis, and we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.
Contact lenses and glasses are a daily necessity for many, and we are committed to serving our customers during this time of crisis. Giant Eagle continues to take orders, and our distribution centers remain open with enhanced safety protocols in place. The health and well-being of our associates and customers is a top priority, and we remain dedicated to this goal. Our products are all safely warehoused in the United States, and we are taking additional best-practice steps to sanitize our distribution center and products. Our warehouse is fully stocked, and we are shipping orders every day just like we have for the past 25 years.
We have given higher risk associates paid leave and have provided all other distribution center associates with the option to not report to work if they are uncomfortable. All of our team members who are able to work remotely are doing so, and we will continue to evolve our procedures as this crisis unfolds.
